We visited Rishis Indian Aroma and tried the ghee dosa, chola bhatura, vada, and filter coffee. The food was delicious, and the junior staff provided good service. The restaurant has great vegetarian options, making it a solid choice for South Indian cuisine.
However, our experience with the filter coffee was disappointing. It was too strong and sour, so when the staff asked for feedback, we mentioned it. The junior staff offered a replacement coffee, which we appreciated. However, after waiting for a while, no replacement was provided. Out of curiosity, we enquired why it wasn’t given, and the restaurant manager came to us and said that since we had already taken the initial coffee, he would not be replacing it. This was a very cheap gesture, especially since the replacement was offered in the first place.
Due to this bitter experience, I am giving a 3-star rating, which would have been a 5-star rating if not for this issue. While the food and junior staff’s service were great, the manager’s attitude was disappointing. A good restaurant should honor its commitments and treat customer feedback seriously. If management improves in this regard, Rishis could provide an even better dining experience.

This restaurant is very great, all South Indian dishes are prepared very well, I am craving for South cuisine food, I always go Rishi's, my fav is ghee roasted masala dosa and all items are great.& Staff is friendly &great service I'm always recommend rishis for South cuisine & for Indian cuisine try chimes of india ❤🙏

I ordered chicken tikka masala and naan online. The quality and taste was pathetic. The gravy was so watery that it had no flavours. The only taste i got was of added sugar in the gravy. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING. I paid £17 for 1 naan and chicken. Just not WORTH IT!

Brilliant food at a very reasonable price with good hospitable service. Got there early to wait for the rest of the party and very accommodating in providing a table. Will be back!

The vibe and interior of the place were quite appealing, creating a cozy and stylish atmosphere. However, the experience was let down by the service. The food was just okay, but what really stood out—in a negative way—was the poor service. Orders took forever to arrive, and it felt like we were left to fend for ourselves as no one was available to attend to us. A disappointing experience despite the promising ambiance.

I visited this restaurant last weekend with my family, friends and their kids. The food was good, reasonably priced, and served quickly. However, the experience took a turn when the staff's attitude left us feeling uncomfortable. With four kids in our group, it’s natural they got restless after an hour. While we made sure they didn’t disrupt other diners, the staff repeatedly complained with visible irritation, which dampened our mood. We understand their concerns, but kids are kids not robots. Managing them isn’t always easy. It’s a request to treat all customers kindly especially families who come to enjoy their meal too.
